Changelog: when claims were checked

This changelog shows when the claims on each English page were checked against their sources. The table is generated during every build from each page’s own claims_checked field. It is sorted from the oldest date to the newest date.

The table is a freshness index. It does not document every file edit. Verified errors and claim corrections are on the separate corrections page.

What does the generated table contain?

The generated table lists English pages only. The German and Swedish changelogs list pages in their own languages. This keeps each table easy to read. It also stops one language from standing in for the whole site.

Each row contains the page title, route, and claim-check date. The date comes from that page’s frontmatter. A content edit does not move the date unless the claims were checked again.

Build-time reconstruction uses the current page set. It avoids a second, manually synchronised date list. A page without claims_checked metadata remains explicit as an undated row rather than a silent omission.

How should the dates be read?

A date identifies the day on which the page’s sources were checked. It does not date every event described on the page. It also does not identify the file’s first composition or latest revision.

Older dates appear first because those pages reach the verification threshold sooner. The current build gate rejects reader-facing pages when their claim-check date is more than 120 days old. That threshold and its build integration were checked on 26 August 2026.

Where are verified changes and errors recorded?

The corrections page records claims that failed verification and explains the correction. This changelog has a different function: it exposes source-verification dates for the current page set.

The method page explains how the site separates source verification, corrections, and evidence types. Those records remain distinct so that a newer verification date is not presented as evidence of an error.
